My name is Marcia Horbacio. I am a mother of four and a grandmother of four beautiful and loved children.

I worked as a corporate trainer for many years but one day I decided to follow my passion for supporting families and became a doula. Today I am also a childbirth educator, a sleep consultant and an instructor for professionals who want to work with families too. I am a DONA certified birth and postpartum doula and a certified Adult and Child sleep consultant and have been working in Toronto since 2005. I offer support through birth, day and overnight support in postpartum and sleep and newborn care education.

I am the founder of Marcia Horbacio – Canadian Parental and Professional Education and I am on a mission to educate in a non-judgemental and evidence-based approach.

I value compassion, integrity, empathy, equality, responsibility, and respect.

I am a catholic and a devotee of the Blessed Virgin Mary. However, I work with women from all faiths and those who do not have any faith or religion too.
